Testing

Have you ever considered personalized testing to determine the overall condition of your health?

At Pharmacy Specialties & Clinic, we offer a wide variety of testing kits to help us determine a patient’s specific needs. These tests allow us to gather information about how nutritional deficiencies are affecting individuals diagnosed with chronic conditions, as well as those who appear generally healthy. Hidden imbalances can contribute to poor body function and the development of chronic diseases, as well as play a major role in the overall condition of one’s health. Measuring and correcting these deficiencies is essential for all patients concerned with improving their health.

We recommend a consultation with one of our pharmacists to help determine which test(s) may be right for you. Testing is quick and easy to send off. Once your results come in, we will be able to implement a personalized regimen tailored to your body’s specific individual needs. There are a number of repletion protocols we can get you started on right away in order to get you back to feeling like yourself again.

Knowing the root cause for how you feel on a daily basis is a key component to initiating the healing process. If you know the cause of an issue, you can directly target and treat your condition appropriately.

  • Hormone Levels
  • Heavy Metals
  • Micronutrients (i.e. Vitamins, Minerals, Amino Acids, Fatty Acids, Antioxidants, along with others)

COVID-19 Antibody Test

During the current COVID-19 pandemic, Pharmacy Specialties & Clinic is able to provide a COVID-19 Antibody Test for the virus. This test will help inform you if you have prior or recent exposure to the virus. The test is capable of accurately detecting levels of IgM and IgG antibodies to the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, which is the virus known to cause COVID-19.

Interpreting Results:

  • High levels of IgM antibodies tends to indicate recent exposure and has the potential to help confirm COVID-19 in patients showing symptoms.
  • High levels of IgG antibodies indicates a longer-term exposure to the virus.

This is valuable information for those individuals with high exposure risk to the virus, including workers in healthcare, service industries, and others who wish to better understand their risk of becoming ill with the virus.

Give us a call today at 605-334-1672 to set up a time to come in and get the test done!

Results from antibody testing should not be used as the sole basis to diagnose or exclude infection or to inform infection status. Follow-up testing should be performed using molecular testing results in order to confirm diagnosis.
